AN ORIGINAL STORY-DRIVEN PRAGUE TOUR ABOUT WINE

Wine, Walk & Whispers is a Prague guided tour for those who enjoy wine, playful stories and a city without filters. We follow the traces of wine and winemaking in Prague, but also of sins, passions and human destinies.

You’ll hear about both famous and forgotten personalities, along with a few (not-so-innocent) stories. This is not an encyclopedia of dates and facts, but a lively storytelling experience about a city that has loved wine for centuries – and still does.


This original route is perfect for expats living in Prague, visiting friends or family, couples, or anyone who wants to experience the city in a more relaxed, playful and authentic way.

PRAGUE THROUGH A GLASS

Wine and winemaking are much more connected to Prague than you might think. During the walk, I’ll share how wine has shaped the life of the city and its people over the centuries. We’ll also stop for a glass of wine or mulled wine, so you can experience Prague with all your senses.

AN ORIGINAL ROUTE

A unique route you won’t find anywhere else. I created it myself based on my own research and local knowledge, enriched with legends and stories from Prague locals. Don’t expect dry facts or a list of dates – every stop has its own purpose, story and point connected to wine.

OUR ROUTE

Meeting Point

The Wine, Walk & Whispers tour starts at the Head of Franz Kafka, near Národní třída metro station. I’ll introduce you to the very beginnings of winemaking in Prague, and from there we’ll continue into the Old Town.

Old Town

We’ll make our way through the winding streets of the Old Town towards Charles Bridge, where we’ll enjoy a glass of mulled wine together. Along the way, you’ll hear stories about famous and lesser-known personalities, their relationship with wine, and a few (not-so-innocent) things that happened to them.

End Point

At Old Town Square, we’ll talk about a famous religious movement and its relationship with wine. From there, we’ll continue past former wine barrel storage houses to the Basilica of St. James the Greater, where the tour comes to an end.
